Stella Zahir

Stella Zahir is the President Of Association Of Arab Art and Letters  was born in the early 1980s in Greece. Her dance experience began at age 3 with traditional Greek folkloric dances.Until age 15, she danced regularly in folkloric dance ensembles throughout Greece. At 15, her passion for dance began to be transformed to oriental dance. At that time, she began taking courses in the most well known Egyptian Festivals with Master teachers like Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy, Aida Nour, Dina ,Randa Kamel , Kazafy, Khaled Mahmoud, Nour, Tito, Leila of Cairo and many others Arabic and non, Master Instructors. With great love, she was heavily influenced by Madame Raqia Hassan that was frequently her teacher for the last years. Stella Zahir has performed and teached in several countries including Japan, Korea,Mexico , France,Germany, Egypt, Italy, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Turkey , Russia, Ukraine ,Vienna and many more. In December 2009, she initiated her major annual dance festival, “Cairo By Night” featuring national and international stars and live arabic orchestras . In 2019 she released ,as Artistic Director ,an Application for Androits and i-phones called Bellydance Academy App featuring stars as Kazafy, Oxana , Shahrazad, Vaagn Tadevosyan and Isis.
